The International Tourism and Leisure Fair in Wrocław is behind us!
From March 27–29, 2020, the Carpathian Euroregion participated in the International Tourism and Leisure Fair, held at the Tarczyński Arena in Wrocław. The event is one of the key meetings of the tourism industry in Poland, bringing together representatives of institutions, organizations, and entities working to develop tourism and promote the regions.
Participation in the fair provided an opportunity to present activities implemented as part of the "Carpathia Culture Net – a networking system for cultural sector entities" project, the main goal of which is to strengthen cross-border cooperation between cultural institutions and build an effective communication and networking system in the Polish-Slovak border region.
The Carpathian Euroregion's booth featured, among other things:
museums of the Polish-Slovak border region as important centers of the region's cultural heritage,
activities related to the creation of cooperation networks between cultural institutions,
initiatives promoting sustainable tourism, including slow tourism, ethnotourism, and cultural trails,
tourism offerings based on local heritage, history, and community involvement. The fair also provided a platform for establishing new contacts and discussing future projects and directions for cooperation in promoting the Carpathian region. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of joint efforts in building a coherent and attractive tourism offer based on authenticity and cultural diversity.
We would like to thank all visitors to our stand for their interest and inspiring conversations. We also extend our gratitude to the partners who contributed to our presence at the event.
This activity is part of the "Carpathia Culture Net – a networking system for cultural sector entities" project, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under Interreg Poland-Slovakia 2021-2027.
