Completion of the next stage of the project - consultation meetings and workshops in the project "Carpathia Culture Net - a networking system for cultural sector entities"
We have completed another phase of the "Carpathia Culture Net – a networking system for cultural sector entities" project, implemented in a Polish-Slovak partnership. This phase included a series of consultation meetings and workshops aimed at jointly developing guidelines for networking among cultural institutions operating in the Carpathian region.
The project included the following:
5 consultation meetings – in Poland and Slovakia
3 thematic workshops – in Rzeszów, Przemyśl, and Svidník.
Consultation meetings were held in Rzeszów, Jarosław, Sanok, Stara Ľubovňa, and Bardejov, while workshops were held in Rzeszów, Przemyśl, and Svidník. Representatives of cultural institutions, museums, local governments, and organizations active in the field of culture and cultural tourism on both sides of the border participated in the events.
During the meetings and workshops:
- the needs and challenges of the cultural sector in the Carpathian region were discussed,
- the principles of a networking system were worked on,
- exchanged experiences and good practices,
- developed recommendations for further project development,
- discussed the concept of the Carpathia Museum Pass and the joint promotion of the cultural heritage of the borderland.
The final workshops, held in January 2026 in Svidník, symbolically summarized the entire series of meetings and served as an important moment for the integration of the project partners and participants. It was a time to reflect on previous activities and define directions for further cooperation.
We thank all participants for their active participation, openness, and commitment, and the partners and hosts for their cooperation and hospitality. This completed phase provides a solid foundation for further efforts to strengthen cross-border cooperation in the area of Carpathian culture and heritage.
The "Carpathia Culture Net – a networking system for cultural sector entities" project is being implemented from August 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026, and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Interreg Poland-Slovakia Programme 2021–2027.
Together for the heritage of the Carpathians!
