The main goal

The project "Analysis - integration - networking of regional potentials of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship and the Preszów Region" is a response to the low quality of strategic cooperation in the field of regional development between entities from the Podkarpackie Voivodeship (Poland) and the Proszowski Region. It also results from the lack of systemic program and institutional solutions in this area. Institutional systems related to pro-development processes on both sides of the border differ from each other, and the use of the potentials of both regions is not based on a common approach. The aim of the project is therefore to change this state of affairs by establishing the Regional Development Network of the Carpathian Euroregion in both regions. The main goal defined in this way by the appointed Polish-Slovak Project Team is identical with the goal defined for Theme 3 of Priority II, which is: "development of a cooperation network binding Polish and Slovak partners".

Detailed objectives

1. Analysis of the level of socio-economic development in the Preszów Region and the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. Definition of common development fields, analysis and integration of institutional potentials in the field of regional development (Analysis).
2. Identification of cross-border development processes influencing the activation, systematization and improvement of the quality of cross-border cooperation on the PL-SK border, affecting the development of the supported area.
3. Integration and mobilization of institutional resources and human reserves related to the identified development processes.
4. Creating a cooperation network.
