Euroregional Cooperation System

The Euroregional Co-operation System is an instrument for the implementation of the mission of the Interregional Carpathian Euroregion, an instrument for supporting regional development and a tool for supporting regional policy in the field of cross-border and international cooperation. The purpose of building the System is therefore strictly subordinated to the objectives of the Union, for which it plays an executive role, and to the objectives of the member regions in the implementation of the priorities of international cooperation. The System includes programming (strategic and operational), organization, coordination, implementation and promotion of cross-border, interregional and international activities (strategies, programs, projects) in the area of the Carpathian Euroregion.

In functional terms, the goal of the Euroregional Cooperation System is:

Implementation of the mission of the Interregional Carpathian Euroregion by organizing partnerships of public, private and non-governmental entities in order to develop and implement joint strategies, programs and projects.

Benefits of cooperation

The Euroregional Cooperation System is an instrument for activating entities operating in the Carpathian Euroregion. The cooperation of public, private and non-governmental sector entities for the socio-economic development of the Euroregion will bring tangible benefits to its members by defining the possibilities and areas of cooperation, preparing local governments, enterprises and non-governmental organizations to use the European Union aid funds for cross-border cooperation, creating thematic development strategies, implementation of joint projects and programs, as well as promotion and presentation of the regions of the Carpathian Euroregion in Europe and in the world.
