The main goal

The project is a response to the identified and described problems related to the creation and management of a multi-sector institutional partnership within the EK on the Polish-Slovak border. The implementation of the project is to finally level the disproportions between the degree of formalization and institutionalization of the EK structures on the Polish side and on the Slovak side. The main goal is to create a multifunctional cooperation network of the CE working to support the cross-sector partnership in the field of territorial cooperation.

Detailed objectives

  1. Aligning the organizational levels between the Polish and Slovak structures of the Carpathian Euroregion, which will allow to increase the coordination capacity within the institutional cooperation system on the borderland.
  2. Inventory and mobilization of the potential of the third sector on the Polish and Slovak side in order to use its resources for territorial cooperation, contributing to the creation of cross-border, thematic partnerships based on the potential of the third sector.
  3. Development and implementation of a communication and cooperation system between the public and non-governmental sector players within the network at the interregional level, the implementation of this goal will allow for joint planning, preparation and implementation of cross-border projects.

Project stages

Project activities were divided into three 6-month stages:

  1. Organization
  2. Special offer
  3. Activation

This division results from the separate nature of each stage, and at the same time facilitates project management and achieving its goals.
